CNAF is hosted by The Smoki Museum of American Indian Art and Culture, the City of Prescott, and the Granite Mountain Gourd Society.

This family-focused festival will display, demonstrate and sell quality Native creations by Contemporary Native Artists. These will include fine art, music, tattoo art, skateboard design, comic book graphic art, dance, fashion design, and more!!!   Vendor information click here.

Spring Competition Powwow of the Granite Mountain Gourd Society on Ken Lindley Field.
 

Tattoo Artists (featuring Landis Bahe) & fine art in the Pueblo Building.
 

Shows and performances in the Grace Sparkes Activity Center (GSAC).

Museum closes at 4 PM.  
Vendor booths close at 7 PM.

  • 11 AM Gourd Dance (powwow grounds)

  • 12 PM Nakotah LaRance, hoop dancer (GSAC)

  • 1 PM Powwow Grand Entry (powwow grounds)

  • 1 PM Fashion Show with Wendell Sakiestewa and Penny Singer (GSAC)

  • 11 AM Gourd Dance (Powwow grounds)

  • 11 AM Mr. and Miss Southwest Two-Spirit Pageant, produced by Twix Ward, former Miss International Two-Spirit, hosted by Shug Delacruz, and with performances by Anya C. Maan, Karlos Quinto, Té De Diamond, Ismael Ramirez, Lady Liz, Miss Paige, Juda Jackson, Valentina Knowles, Leslie Lewinsky, the A:chem A'al Co-op Basket Dancers of the Gila River Indian Community,
    and Sky Duncan, hoop dancer.  Judges:  Angel Manuel- Thono O’odham, Daniel Pie Wood Salt River Pima Maricopa, Kay Kisto- Gila River Indian community, Josh Cheney- White Mountain Apache Isadore Boni- San Carlos Apache, and Navi Ho- Navajo.  (GSAC)

PARKING INFORMATION

FREE SHUTTLE SERVICE

Festival-goers may catch a shuttle from the Frontier Village shopping Center. Turn in by Einstein Brothers Bagels and follow the signs to the parking area below Harbor Freight. The shuttles will run every 10-15 minutes to the festival from 9 AM to 6 PM Saturday and Sunday. This service is courtesy of Bucky's and Yavapai Casino.

ADDITIONAL PARKING

As a courtesy, some local businesses have granted permission for public parking after their regular business hours only, and during the hours of the festival shows at the Grace Sparkes Activity Center. They, and restrictions, are noted on the map below. For your safety, please use the designated crosswalks when crossing the street.
