Dia de los Muertos ~ Day of the Dead ~

Altars honoring the dearly departed will be on display in the Pueblo Building on November 1. We invite individuals, organizations, and school groups who wish to set up altars to download the guidelines and application. There is no charge.

Our main altar this year will be dedicated to those who lost their lives due to the pandemic, and we are seeking photos of such loved ones. If you wish to contribute, please send their photo, name, and details you would like to share to julie.rucker@museumofindigenouspeople.org.

Due to potential health risks, we will not be having an elaborate celebration as in past years, but we will have altar viewing and a virtual celebration via social media.
