About the event
Help the school children of Native rural communities gain confidence for the upcoming year with your donations throughout July 2025. It's that time of year again! Kids are enjoying their summer break, and parents are wondering how they are going to afford their children all they need for the upcoming school year. Please bring your donations of NEW backpacks and school supplies to the museum during regular business hours.
Please bring your donations of NEW backpacks, school supplies, or monetary donations to the museum during regular business hours in the month of June and July. Museum staff and volunteers will fill the backpacks and deliver them to the Native students in rural communities before the start of the new school year.
A new start for a bright future is on the horizon for 2025. Students who carry new gear with them on their first day of school are better prepared physically and emotionally to learn.
