Storytellers

Storytellers at Smoki, 11 AM -3 PM_

Winter is the time when families gather to stay warm and share stories that have been told over the generations. The Smoki Museum will again continue this tradition on December 27th from 11 AM to  3PM in the pueblo building. The public is invited to bring their families on this special day, where we will sit by the glow of the crackling fire, enjoy delicious homemade cookies and warm cider made by our museum volunteers, and become absorbed in the winter stories recounted by some of our Native friends. There is no extra charge for this event, regular museum admission rates apply. It will be the perfect bit of calm in the otherwise, busy holiday season, and we do hope that you will take the time to join us.
