About the event

"As a Native American artist, I am constantly having a conversation with myself regarding the issue of identity. Too many people today hold  a false story about Native American in their hearts and minds. This story makes us invisible or reduces us to a stereotype. It fuels individual people's biases and racism. Invisibility and myths harm our children, our peoples and our nations. They certainly deny our humanity"
