About MIP

We are the only museum in the greater Prescott area devoted to the culture and art of the Native American people.

Our Welcome Center campaign is moving forward.
Thanks to strong support in our quiet phase, we’re preparing for construction as early as 2027. Now, we invite the public to join us  and invest in the next 90 years of the Museum of Indigenous People.

Love this museum. It's small, but the displays are very informative and the building all the artifacts are displayed in is an artifact itself.
