About the Event
Step away from the holiday rush and gather with us for one of the Museum of Indigenous People’s most cherished annual traditions.
Each winter, Native storytellers share stories traditionally told during the cold season — part of generations-old oral traditions passed down through families and communities. These are stories of culture, connection, humor, wisdom, and resilience.
Join us in the Pueblo Building, where guests sit by the fireplace, enjoy complimentary hot cider and homemade cookies, and listen as the stories unfold in a warm and welcoming setting.
This is a calm, family-friendly afternoon — a moment to slow down, reflect, and experience Indigenous storytelling traditions in an intimate setting.
